The Owensboro Innovation Academy will announce its first class at this public ceremony. The class will be made up of 100 students from both local and regional middle schools. The students will enter the school as freshman in fall 2015.
Each year, Owensboro Innovation Academy will add about 100 eighth-graders. Four years from now, the academy will have around 400 students. Owensboro Innovation Academy will be located in the lower level of the Centre for Business and Research on Allen Street.
