January 31, 2015 is the 150th anniversary of the vote by the U.S. House of Representatives on the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which abolished slavery. The passage of the amendment is the central story of the movie.
After the showing there will be an unveiling of a portrait of George Yeaman,
followed by reception, at the Daviess County Court House
