About Us
Bluestone Hatchery is a veteran-owned, Kentucky licensed poultry farm based in Lewisport, Kentucky, serving Owensboro, Daviess County, and surrounding communities. We specialize in producing healthy Purebred and Hybrid-Vigor egg laying chickens.
Bluestone Hatchery is National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) Certified. NPIP is a federal–state cooperative certification program that verifies our flock is tested and monitored for certain poultry diseases. Being NPIP is the only way to legally qualified for interstate poultry sales. We are the only breeder in Daviess County to be NPIP certified.
