DESCRIPTION:The September Rooster Booster Breakfast is sponsored by Brescia University with guest speaker Jennifer Elwell of Common Ground.\n\n\n\nJennifer Elwell has been the Communications Director for the Kentucky Corn Growers and Kentucky Small Grain Growers Associations for the past 16 years. In 2010\, Jennifer became inspired to reach a broader audience and share her knowledge of farmers and food production. She began writing her blog\, "Food\, Mommy!" which delves into issues such as food choices\, food safety\, industry issues and parenting to raise thoughtful consumers.\n\n\n\nShortly after\, Jennifer became involved in CommonGround\, a national initiative of the Corn Growers and United Soybean Board to bring moms from both sides of the farm gate together for meaningful conversation to reduce the fear that comes with food.
