For over 40 years Western Kentucky University in Owensboro has provided regional students with ''Access to Success.'' WKU-O is committed to providing high quality, affordable and convenient education for the citizens of Daviess and surrounding counties. It is our goal to provide students with personalized attention, a variety class offerings with flexible delivery options, technological innovation and a faculty with real world experience. WKU-O prepares students to be productive community leaders by offering bachelor's degrees through transfer programs and completion degrees. Through the joint admissions agreement with area KCTCS schools, it has never been easier to obtain a four-year, public education in the Owensboro area. WKU-O currently offers 27 undergraduate programs and 17 graduate programs. The L. Reid Haire Administration Building contains 16 classrooms, a computer lab, an electronic library, ample administrative offices, as well as the Badgett Conference Center to host WKU-O and community events. Our classrooms and the Badgett Conference Center are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment conducive to teaching and learning. WKU-O is excited to house a WKU book and apparel store as well. This added convenience enables students to purchase materials for class as well as their WKU-O gear and gifts. WKU-O is unique in that students are able to register for classes, seek academic and financial aid advising, and have access to career services all in one building.
